Dallas Center-Grimes standout, Zane Mulder, has committed to wrestle for Nick Mitchell and the Grand View Vikings. Unlike the majority of recruits, Mulder knew all along he wanted to be a Viking.

“I didn’t look around much. I started to but Grand View just felt like the right atmosphere and campus for me. I’ve been training here since I was in eighth grade.” – Zane Mulder

Mulder is a three-time state place-winner for the Mustangs and holds an 122-17 career record. Heading into his senior year, Zane plans to wrestle 160 pounds and then jumping up to 174/184 for college. Mulder recently placed seventh in a loaded Conflict at Carver bracket at 170 pounds.

“Not reaching my goals in the past three years has taught me to be more confident in my abilities and be more prepared for each match. Never overlook at kid and confidence will get me to the top of the podium in 2018.”

This is the fourth state medalist to commit to Grand View in the last month as Mulder joins Sam Loyd, Shea Ruffridge and Tanner Abbas as the Vikings other most recent commitments.
