Top side:

#1 Ali Gerbracht (AGWSR) is the defending state champion, Dan Gable Ms. Wrestler of the Year award winner and now the all-time wins leader among girls in Iowa High School History. Her path to repeat won’t be easy. She should face the winner of a really good R16 matchup between #6 Alexis Partida (West Liberty) and #8 Adyson Lundquist (Southwest Valley) in the Quarterfinals. The other quarterfinal on the top side looks like it should be a showdown between #4 Jalynn Goodale (Osage) against #3 Alaina Sunlin (Monticello).

Bottom side:

#2 Ella Schmit (Bettendorf) was a state runner up at this weight as a freshman last season and has had another stellar year this season.
