The NAIA have released preseason rankings for the 2015-16 season and four-time NAIA national champions Grand View retains their top spot in the rankings as they begin the season trying to five-peat in the division. In addition to Grand View being the team favorite, there are 22 individual wrestlers from an Iowa college ranked in the preseason rankings.

The Vikings start the season with ten of their wrestlers ranked and 133 All-American Jacob Colon is the highest among that group at #2. Of those ten ranked, eight of those competitors are preseason top eight, which means Grand View almost has an entire lineup of All-Americans.
