Two-time IWCOA girls state champion Chloe Clemons has switched her college commitment and will now wrestle for coach Angelo Crinzi at Grand View. She originally committed to Indian Hills during her senior season of high school but told IAwrestle that Indian Hills just wasn’t quite the right fit for me. I also changed my major which wasn’t offered at Indian Hills.
Clemons said “Between the academic availability at Grand View, and the winning attitude of the coaching staff, it was a clear choice for me. I worked out with the team and they were very welcoming and the practice was all I expected it to be, tough, vigorous and everyone in the room on the same path with the same goals of success.”
She also added “I would like to thank Coach Crinzi and Coach Valles for the opportunity to compete on there team. I would also like to thank my parents, family and friends for always being in my corner and supporting me along the way.”
Clemons will be immediately eligible to wrestle for Grand View this winter and has all 4 years remaining.
