One of the top names in the 2020 Iowa recruiting class is now off the board as state runner-up Sage Walker of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont has committed to Grand View University. Walker is a two-time state place winner and holds a career record of 133-14 heading into his senior season. He was also a 2018 Fargo Nationals All American. Walker chose the Vikings over Northern Illinois and Upper Iowa and projects at 184 pounds.

He told IAwrestle that he chose Grand View because “The coaching staff is awesome and the atmosphere there is what I am looking for. They are always looking to win everything they do and I want to be a part of the championship lifestyle.” He added “I’m looking forward to getting a high school state title under my belt.”

He joins fellow Iowans Cam Baarda (Southeast Polk) and Sam Kallem (Ankeny) in the 2020 recruiting class for Grand View.
