We knew coming in this was going to be a big weekend for Iowa State as they were set to host several big name wrestlers in the class of 2019 and 2020. It looks like one of those big names has gone ahead and announced his commitment as Pennsylvania prep Ryan Anderson announced his news on Twitter yesterday.

Anderson is a bonafide blue chip recruit out of Pennsylvania powerhouse program Bethlehem Catholic where he is a two-time state medalist. He is currently ranked #1 at 145 pounds according to The Open May, and projects at a key, need area for the Cyclones, 141/149 pounds.

The Cyclones’ class now features a pair of talented preps with Anderson joining Albia, Iowa product Aden Reeves.
