Johnston’s Collin Hushagen Commits to Northern State

State place-winner Collin Hushagen has made the committment ot wrestle at the next level at Northern State. Hushagen placed eighth last year in Class 3A at 160 pounds.

“The level of competition at Northern State was the deciding factor.” Hushagen told IAwrestle. “The coaching staff and academics played a huge role in my decision for my future success.”

The Johnston dragon picked the Wolves over Central and Cornell College. Hushagen is projected at 174/184 in college and plans to wrestle 170 pounds this year for Johnston Head Coach, Aaron Tecklenburg.

IAwrestle’s Preseason Rankings come out tomorrow morning. The Dragons will likely begin the season ranked in the top 10 and are led by senior, Zach Price who is No. 25 in IAwrestle’s FAB50.
