125 pounds – Sr. – Council Bluffs, Iowa – Skutt Catholic

  • Helped lead the Hawkeyes to a first-place finish at the Midlands Championships
  • The top-ranked wrestler picked up a pin, three technical falls and a decision before claiming a major decision in the championship over seventh-ranked Tim Lambert of Nebraska
  • Named the Dan Gable Most Outstanding Wrestler
  • Earns the second Wrestler of the Week Award of his career

Ethan Lizak, Minnesota

125 pounds – So. – Schnecksville, Pa. – Parkland

  • Led the Golden Gophers to a fourth-place finish at the Southern Scuffle
  • Picked up three major decisions over ranked opponents en route to the 125-pound title
  • Earned bonus points in all five wins, surrendering just two takedowns
  • Earns the first Wrestler of the Week Award of his career
