After starting off red hot at the Disney Duals, Team Iowa have pushed their record from 4-0 to a still perfect 7-0, claiming the top spot in their Pool. Iowa would win two consecutive shutouts to start the day (but it was really four if you count the final two duals from yesterday), and then won once again in the final dual.

Iowa opened the day against the Ohio The Room team and put up a phenomenal performance where they shutout the Ohio team by a final score of 68-0. 10 of the wrestlers in the lineup were able to secure bonus wins, including six by fall. Josh Wenger, Max Thomsen, and Josh Davis gave Iowa three straight pins at 138 through 152 for Iowa. All three of the falls came in the first period. Jacob Holschlag and Steven Holloway each secured their falls for Iowa in under a minute and Gabe Rangel had the final fall for the team at 3:53.

Iowa then went from a really good performance to a really great performance picking up their fourth straight shutout beating the VA Phenomenon 77-0. Iowa started things off with a 41 second fall from Michael Millage, followed by a 1:51 fall by Jack Wagner, and then a 17-0 technical fall from Jacob Schwarm. Iowa would add a pair of decision and then would proceed to win the final seven matches by fall (with two forfeits in there as well). Joe Teague and Holloway earned first period falls, Wenger, Thomsen, Dayton Racer, and Holschalg earned second period falls, and Gannon Gremmel put his opponent away in the third.

The Illinois Outsider squad would make things interesting, as they took three of the first five matches (though most of that was negated already as they forfeited and lost by injury default). Wenger picked up a 6-0 decision over Jake Barzowski, which would kick off a nine match winning streak to close out the dual to a 41-10. All wins were by decision, except for Holloway who won his match 10-2 major decision, and Gremmel who won his match 13-5 major decision.Match #5 Round 5:
