PWCFormer UNI Panther and current Panther Wrestling Club member Joe Colon went to Cuba with Team USA for the Cerro Pelado International tournament in Havana.

Colon wrestled well, only dropping one match on the day. He earned third place by blanking 2012 Olympian Sam Hazewinkel 10-0.

The United States had a pretty good showing on the day; Aaron Pico and Reece Humphrey picked up first and second place respectively at 65kg/143 pounds. The US picked up another first place winner at 97kg/213 pounds in J.D. Bergman.

The two women that wrestled also had good performances, Kelsey Campbell and Adeline Gray each won the 58kg/128 pound and 75kg/165 pound weight classes respectively.
