What: ISU vs. SIU-Edwardsville
Where: CY Stephens Auditorium
When: Sunday, November 11th at 12 PM

The long awaited debut of Austin Gomez is upon us. Gomez had a 8-0 record record in his redshirt year, winning the Sioux City Dave Edmonds Open, Duhawk Open, and Willie Meyers Open. Over the summer he qualified for the US Junior World team at 61kg, but withdrew to heal a nagging injury and be ready for the college wrestling season. He’ll be your starter at 133 pounds. Sunday also marks the first dual for another highly anticipated, homegrown, redshirt Freshman Marcus Coleman at 174 pounds.
A couple transfers to watch are at 125 and 197 pounds. Alex Mackall gets the nod at 125 after previously wrestling at Rutgers University. Willie Miklus will be the Cyclones starter at 197. Miklus was an All-American at Missouri University prior to arriving in Ames. Willie, a Southeast Polk product, was a champ last Saturday at the Harold Nichols
