Two-time state champion Julien Broderson of Davenport Assumption has decided to stay in state for college. After visiting Ames this weekend he has committed to coach Dresser and the Iowa State Cyclones. Broderson projects at 184/197 at the next level. He is currently ranked 16th in the country be The Open Mat.

“It was different than anywhere else I had gone.” Broderson told IAwrestle “The atmosphere, the wrestling coaches and the wrestlers. It just felt like home.”

Broderson chose Iowa State over : Iowa, Northern Iowa, Nebraska, Northern Colorado, Brown, Columbia, and Stanford.

Broderson joins Aden Reeves and Ryan Anderson in the class of 2019 for the Cyclones.
