The USA is sending a strong team to compete at this year’s Senior Grand Prix of Spain, July 14-15 in Madrid, Spain.
Hawkeye wrestling club members Spencer Lee, Cory Clark & Alli Ragan will be among those competing.
Many fans will be excited to see how Spencer Lee fairs in his first international competition since arriving on campus at Iowa. Lee is a multiple time age level world champion looking to make his mark on the senior level.
Ragan has won two World silver medals and recently made the 2018 Women’s World team.
Clark was a 2017 NCAA champion who took some time off to recover from injuries after that season. He is looking for his first international senior level medal.
Iowa native Megan Black is also set to compete in the women’s competition as well. Black recently graduated from McKendree University where she was a multiple time All American. She was also a member of the U23 world team last year.
