CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI wrestling is hosting a clinic to raise funds for a member of the Panther family who was diagnosed with cancer.
The clinic is open to children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Participants will learn drills and techniques from the UNI coaching staff and former Panthers Cruse Aarhus, Joey Lazor and Blaize Cabell.
The cost is $25 and includes a T-shirt, Jimmy John’s sub and entry to that night’s Old Dominion vs. UNI dual.
Participants are asked to check in at the West Gym 11 a.m. Nov. 27. The clinic will end at 12:30, and the ODU vs. UNI dual will start at 2 p.m.
Parents and guardians are asked to buy a ticket online and should contact Lindsey.Thomas@uni.edu for details.
All proceeds will benefit Kelsey Motley, who was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year. She works for Panther Sports Properties – Learfield Sports.
