How did you get involved in wrestling?
I first got involved in wrestling in 4th grade when my friend unvited me to anoka youth camp also known as the police federation and I fell in love with the sport and the rest is history.
You were injured for about half of your senior season, how did that effect your wrestling?
It affected me a little bit I wasn’t quite in the shape that I would have liked to be in. I was in good shape but not quite wrestling shape but other than the shape the only thing hindering me was mat time.
Why did you choose UNI? After growing up in Minnesota does it feel weird coming to an Iowa school?
The reason I chose uni is because when I went on my visit there it felt like a place I could come home i loved everything about it and the team and coaches were great. And it just felt right.
How much wrestling do you plan on doing this summer? What tournaments?
I plan to do a few tournaments this summer like Fargo, hopefully Junior Nationals and maybe Junior Olympics. And a few small ones around town. As far as training I’ll do the Storm training at Augsburg and the Anoka club.
Who has been your biggest influence in your wrestling career?
There have been too many people supporting me throughout my career that I couldn’t I name just one. I couldn’t be more blessed.
Who has been your toughest opponent to face to this point in your career?
This might sound cliche but my biggest opponent is me. There is no one that can stop you from achieving your goals except yourself and that is something I live by
What do you plan to study?
I plan on going into exercise science with a minor in coaching and then go on to get my masters in physical therapy.
What do you like to do to get away from wrestling and relax?
Some things I like to do to get away from wrestling are stuff like hunting fishing. I like to go out and be with friends and family and have a good time

I would like to thank my family coaches and community for supporting me and helping me become the wrestler and man I am today. Couldnt have done it without them.
