In another top-ten battle for the MVC Championship Jefferson’s third-ranked Kyle Birggs took down Kennedy’s Logen Rodriguez. The J-Hawk took the Cougar down three times in the first period and once more in the third to secure the 152 pound MVC Championship. It was Jefferson’s second champion of the day, and helps solidify their second place team finish.
