Buena Vista has bolstered its team depth with a 20-man freshman class. All together BVU added 23 athletes to its roster from the end of the 2016 season. The Beavers return 2016 IIAC Freshman of the Year Brad Kerkhoff and feature three seniors (Ernesto Garcia, Andrew Nelson, and Tyler Puls). Garcia was a 2016 Central Region medalist, while Nelson and Puls have seen significant time in the starting lineup throughout heir careers. The Beavers will have a young roster with 28 freshman/sophomores.
