IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa wrestling program is inviting wrestling coaches and their families to its annual Coaches Clinic on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Dan Gable Wrestling Complex inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The 2016 clinic features presentations from United States Olympian Daniel Dennis, UI Strength and Conditioning Coach Travis Rutt, UI Athletic Trainer Jesse Donnenwerth, and Hawkeye Wrestling Club Members Chris and Nick Dardanes.

Check-in begins Friday at 4 p.m. (CT) at the Dan Gable Wrestling Complex. Presentations and clinics begin at 5:15 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m.  The first 80 coaches to pre-register will gain admission to the Iowa-Wisconsin football game on Saturday, Oct. 22. Coaches and families are invited to attend the HWC tailgate following Saturday’s open practice. Burgers, brats, and beverages will be served.
