DC Elite Pre-Season Camp – October 28th-29th

The Head of the Panther Train Doug Schwab and Randy Pugh will be present showing technique along with current UNI Panthers Max Thomsen, Hunter Washburn and Jay Schwarm that have been a part of the DC Elite program for many years.

DC Elite is proud to welcome the wrestling community to come out and join us in a two-day camp.

When: Oct 28^th and Oct 29^th

Where: 1404 W. Mt. Pleasant St. West Burlington, IA

Cost: $100 additional siblings are $50 ($75 for high school kids that have football Friday night)

Ages: K-12

Overview of the camp: 

The goal of this camp is to get everyone in the right mindset heading into Pre-season nationals. We hope that the parents are able to attend the majority of the camp. There will be many chances for the parent’s involvement. We are going to have a Q&A time where they have chances to ask college coaches and wrestlers about the sport. As for the athletes we are trying to work around the football schedule that most have, there will be very little down time and everything will be at a fast pace.

Camp Schedule:

Friday

5:30pm – 6:00pm — Check in and get dressed

6:00pm – 8:00pm – Technique and Wrestling (Feet)

8:00 – Kids will be released however we hope everyone can stay close to Burlington

9:00pm 10:30 pm – Bowling at fun-city for those who stay

Saturday

8:00am – 9:30am – Group workout

9:30am – 10:00am – Relax and get dressed for workout

10:00am – Noon — Technique and Wrestling (Feet and top position)

Noon – 1:00 pm – Lunch (lunch will be served by DC Staff)

1:00pm – 3:00pm Technique and Wrestling (Feet and Bottom position)

3:00pm – 4:30pm Live Wrestling

5:00 pm — kids will be released

Please send an email to johnnysiegel06@gmail.com to sign up by September 30^th. State your children’s name, age, address and shirt size on the email. Then the check needs to be sent to 3604 Caribou Ct NE Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. Please get all this completed before the camp.
