Cohlton Schultz looks to knock off Jared Campbell at NOC2

The IA Wrestle team is very excited to announce the third matchup for Night of Conflict 2 in what may be the biggest head-to-head meeting in event history. The event that started as an Iowa based showcase has grown into a premier wrestling event welcoming any and all of the top talent in the country. Once again we will have a top five matchup at the event with Cohlton Schultz of Colorado taking on Jared Campbell of Ohio.

Cohlton Schultz is a name that has been lighting up the national scene since his middle school days when he would dominate Tulsa Nationals’ brackets. A sophomore to be, Schultz has continued to put in high level performances at a weight that is typically dominated by upperclassmen. Some credentials for Schultz include: A Colorado state title, three top five finishes at UWW Cadet Nationals (including a Greco-Roman national title), a Fargo national title, a Doc Buchanan title, and runner up at the 2015 Walsh Ironman. Because of all of those performances Schultz is ranked the #3 ranked wrestler at 220 pounds and is the #1 overall recruit in the class of 2019.

Opposite Schultz will be St. Edwards’s Jared Campbell, who is the man just ahead of Shultz in the 220 pound rankings at #2. A two-time runner-up in the state of Ohio, Campbell is coming off a big offseason that included winning both FloNationals and NHSCAs. The #25 recruit in the class of 2017, Campbell will be headed to Missouri for his college wrestling career.

ABOUT NIGHT OF CONFLICT:

The IA Wrestle Team is proud to announce that this October we will be hosting a premier wrestling event titled “The Night of Conflict 2”, and will pit some of the best talent that the country has to offer in a head-to-head battle for supremacy of each weight class. The event is scheduled for October 14, 2016 in Carver-Hawkeye Arena and it will take place the day before the preseason tournament, the Conflict at Carver, whose proceeds directly benefit the Hawkeye Wrestling Club. The dual will be broadcasted on Flowrestling.

Following weigh ins for the Conflict at Carver, wrestlers who have registered for the tournament will receive automatic admission into the Night of Conflict, free of charge. Tickets for the Night of Conflict will also be available for purchase at the door.

Floor seats not available at this time but general admission can be purchased at this time. Buy TICKETS

Your tickets will be scanned for entry and no reentry will be allowed. Each individual will need to print their ticket. *You can purchase as many as you like but make sure you print each ticket for entry*
