Last weekend in Indianapolis some of the nation’s top schoolboy/girl aged competitors from around the country came together to compete for the respective states at USA Wrestling’s Schoolboy/girl National Duals. This week the All-Tournament team was announced for the competition, with a total of four Iowans making the list.

In order to be considered for the All-Tournament team, an athlete must go undefeated in a minimum number of matches in that specific style to earn All-Tournament Team honors.

Chance Lamer (77) stood out among all Iowans on the team by being one of 16 wrestlers in the entire tournament that completed an undefeated weekend in both Greco-Roman and freestyle.

Joining Lamer on the All-Tournament team was Brandon O`Brien (70), Carter Fousek (77), and Matthew Lewis (84) as the trio went undefeated in freestyle. The state of Iowa was among the best states, matching Texas, Pennsylvania, and Colorado as the only states to produce four freestyle All-Tournament Team members
