Hall looked up to his old ways in defeating Cory Stainbrook. Hall used a variety of doubles and athletic attacks to gather himself a 10-5 victory.Weatherman and Hall are ranked 11th and 8th respectively.

Pat Downey also made his Hilton debut in dramatic fashion; winning a 5-4 match in which he fought off a takedown in the closing seconds. Downey was rumored to win a wrestle off earlier in the week over Dane Pestano; who has over 20 wins on the year and will be an automatic qualifier. Downey led 5-2 late in the match before giving up an escape and stall point to close the gap in the final minute. Downey was able to utilize all of the attacks he made for easy scores with double legs.

Of note junior Kyle Larson defeated West Virginias returning national runner-up by injury default. As Larson took Moisey to his back with a single leg attack; Moisey clearly dislocated his elbow and was unable to finish the match.
