The Hawkeye Wrestling Club, which has been helping wrestlers pursue their Olympic dreams since it’s inception in 1973, will be putting on their Arctic Plunge at the Brown Deer golf course this weekend. Last year, IA Wrestle’s own Tony Hager plunged with Pat Angerer as the cast from Vision Quest.
This year the IA Wrestle team will be in full force making their plunge into Brown Deer’s chilly water, but the big picture is that this event is one of the HWC’s biggest fund raisers. This past weekend Iowa’s Director of Wrestling Operations, Luke Eustice, caught up with the crew from Takedown Wrestling to discuss the plunge event.
