Nick Mitchell and the Grand View squad will bid farewell to 14 seniors tonight at the final home wrestling event of the season. The top ranked Vikings will take on 15th ranked Baker University tonight at Sisam Arena in Des Moines. Baker boast four wrestlers ranked in the top 12 including the programs first national champ Bryce Shoemaker, ranked 2nd at 133. The Wildcats should provide some entertaining match ups, more so then the previous home duals where Grand View outscored their opponents 95-3.
The 2015 senior class will be recognized before the dual. Out of the 14 seniors, this class has produced four National Champs (all four could become 2x’er by the end of the year), seven All Americans, and four wrestlers who gritted out five years of Mitchell training.
