I’m here with Tom Brands after a full day of wresting here at the Luther Open, Coach what were your goals coming into today and how do you feel your team executed?

Brands: I think goals are relative, meaning what time of year it is. I think we won ten weight classes, and I think that is a good thing. You would like to see more perfection and this time of the year it’s hard to get to that perfection, but you want to always see that perfection. I’ll tell you this we got work to do, something to work on and we’ll go to work very quickly here on it.

It’s your second season in a row starting here at the Luther Open, how do you think this tournament prepares you for the season?

Brands: I think it’s great timing for us, it’s a well run tournament and I gave kudos to coach Mitchell last year and I give kudos to him again this year. I think that they do a good job and as long as it fits the calendar and what we’re trying to do I think it’s a good event early season for us that’s for sure.
