With the UNI football team returning to Cedar Falls for homecoming this year, wrestling fans have the annual homecoming get-together to look forward to.
The event, now in its 5th year, is sponsored by the Panther Wrestling Club and features two open practices and acknowledgement of alumni, student-athletes, coaches and administration. It kicks off with an open practice Friday night at the West Gym from 3:00-5:00, with a fan gathering at Mulligans at 6:00.
On Saturday there will be another open practice starting at 10:00 and going until Noon. There will be a tent on the West side of the UNI-Dome from 1:00-3:30 with food, drink, and special awards.
With Homecoming being so early in the year this year, Panther fans can expect a different format to the practices, what that might be though still hasn’t been revealed.
