Class 3A
106 – Schriever, Oldham, and Braswell all on the same side is a tough draw. Freshman #2 Ben Monroe seems like the favorite on the top side but can #5 Gottschalk stop him?
113 – The top 3 guys are all on the top side with Drew Bennett, Kyle Biscoglia, and Kobey Pritchard. Whoever survives this meat grinder will be a favorite in the finals.
120 – Seems like a pretty well split up bracket. Should be a good chance of Dylan Albrecht and Gauge Perrien battling for a chance at #1 Brody Teske in the finals.
126 – The top 4 guys could all make the semifinals with Foreman and Midkiff on top side and Price and Brown on the bottom side.
132 – #1 Cade Devos and #2 Jake Watters should be on a crash course for the semifinals. Birt, Runyon, and Wennermark put the 3-5 guys on the bottom side.
138 – #2 Lendt and #3 Lewis should battle in the quarterfinals for a possible shot at the finals where they will likely face #1 Lara.
145 – #2 Stotts & #3 Graham seem poised to meet in the semifinals. #1 Barnes likely awaits in the finals but could be tested by undefeated and #4 Caleb Conway from Marion in quarters.
152 – #3 Yant vs #4 Ward in the first round is brutal! Get through that match and #1 Nelson Brands awaits in the semifinals. Colin Conway had a great district tournament and could await #2 Lara in the semifinals.
160 – #2 Southard, #3 Waggenhoffer & #4 Culver are all on the bottom half of the bracket. Win and likely see #1 Shapiro in the finals.
170 – #1 Marcus Coleman & #2 Ben Sarasin should meet in the semis in a rematch of a fun match earlier this season. #4 Lamm & #5 Babcock meet first round and the winner should face #3 Rashed in the quarters.
182 – Sherry, Gordon, and Kubovec should be a good battle on the top side for a chance at #1 Max Lyon in the finals.
195 – #1 Kaden Sauer has been wrestling well and looks to be the guy on the top side. #3 Corbin & #4 Dykes meet first round with the winner likely facing #2 Bartel in the semifinals.
220 – #1 Rocky Lombardi seems to be the clear favorite on the top half. #2 Wriedt is the defending champ but faces #4 Eggleston 1st round. #3 Haggstrom could await the winner in the semifinals.
285 – #3 Lickiss and #5 Begic in the first round should be a good one! #4 Poole likely awaits in the semifinals. #1 Costello should make the semis against either #2 Sanders or #6 Newell.
Class 2A
106 – #1 Kesterson and #2 Thomsen both sit on the top side and should meet in the semis. #3 Esmoil and #6 Weeks meet first round and the winner could be the favorite to reach the finals. #5 Kadel could be waiting in the semis though.
113 – #1 Reeves, #3 Faught, #4 Olejniczak & #6 Fuessley all sit on the top side. #2 Doolittle is the favorite on the bottom half but could get tested by #5 Lewis.
120 – #2 Carter Cox vs #4 Shea Ruffridge is a great first round match and the winner should be the favorite to make the finals. #1 Bryce West is the definite favorite on the bottom side but #5 Thompson has been red hot lately and should be waiting in the semis.
126 – #1 Millage and #2 West are on opposite sides and appear to be on a crash course for the finals.
132 – The top side is tough with #1 Curry, #3 Robertson, #5 Fye appear to be the top guys on this side. #4 O’Shea, #6 Sieperda, and #7 Steffen are the highest ranked guys on the bottom half.
138 – Top half is LOADED with #1 Geerts, #3 Abbas & #4 Rozeboom. #2 Noftsger and #5 Vest could meet in the other semifinal.
145 – It’s a shame that #1 Leisure and #2 Reick have to meet in the quarters but it should make for a great early match. #3 Xavier Miller appears to be the favorite to reach the finals from the top side.
152 – #1 Joe Kelly will get tested with #5 Pecinovsky 1st round and #2 Judge in the quarters. #3 Kelso and #6 Van Weelden appear to be the favorites on the top side but don’t sleep on #9 Krueger who has been wrestling well.
160 – #2 Gorman looks like the favorite on top side but don’t sleep on #5 Roland vs #9 Bartow (who knocked out #1 Hageman at districts) in the first round. #3 Broderson and #4 Nelson could meet in the other semifinal.
170 – Brock Jennings is the CLEAR favorite to reach the finals with #8 Glaser being the only other ranked guy on the top half. The bottom half is really tough but we could see #3 Morrison and #4 Kent in the semis.
182 – Chase Shiltz is the heavy favorite as usual and should make the finals. #2 Peterschmidt could be tested by the winner of #7 Vermaas & #9 Goebel in the 1st round.
195 – #1 Esmoil faces #6 Skubal 1st round. #5 Stork & #8 Seth Moore are also on top half. #2 Sam Moore and #3 Fritz face off in a great 1st round matchup! #4 Mikkelsen could wait in the semifinals.
220 – #1 Broderson, #2 Hulett & #3 Ring are all on the same side! #4 Powell and #5 Maloy face off in the quarters with the winner becoming the favorite to reach the finals.
285 – Again we get a loaded side with #1 Trenary, #2 McConkey, #4 Linderbaum, #5 Van’t Hof, #7 Ahrendsen & #9 Bradley! That leaves #3 Wirfs and #6 Lape as the favorites on the top side.
Class 1A
106 – #1 Wilson and #2 Siebrecht could see each other again in the semis and have split this season. I still think that the winner of #5 Nieman and #8 Cassady could be a sleeper on this side too. #3 Kimball and #4 Allard could meet in the semis on the top half.
113 – Cael Happel continues to prove he’s the #1 guy and should make the finals here. #3 Meeker faces #5 James in a great 1st round match. #4 Krager, #6 Ragsdale & #7 Hall are also on that side as well.
120 – #1 Fox and #2 Kyner should face off in the quarters. #3 Henderson sits on the other side with #4 Lange and #6 Portis.
126 – #1 Alex Thomsen should reach his 3rd straight finals out of the top side. #2 Schmit, #3 Berg, & #5 Henderson should be a good battle on the bottom half.
132 – #1 Siebrecht, #2 Tibbits, #4 Thompson, #5 Throndson & #8 Egan are all on the bottom side. #3 Roth & #6 Bauer could meet in the semis on top side.
138 – #1 Krall, #3 Hansen, & #5 McLaughlin have all been #1 at some point this season and all are on the top side. #4 Leopard is the highest ranked guy on the bottom half but will be tested by #7 Decker 1st round and #6 Martin in the quarters.
145 – #1 Trent Johnson seems to be the clear favorite on the top half. #2 Schuck, #3 Brisker, & #4 Eilers are all on the bottom half and it should be a fun battle.
152 – #1 Axmear & #3 Anderson should meet in the quarters to be the favorite on the top side. #2 Swafford & #4 Van Houten will meet in the quarters on the bottom half.
160 – #1 Seehase & #4 Henrich in the quarters will be a good one and #6 Nelson could await the winner in the semis. #2 Haynes & #3 Krakow could meet in the semis on top half.
170 – #3 Dierking & #4 Arbegast face off round 1 with winner likely facing #1 Sloan in the semis. #2 Entriken is the favorite on top side but could face the winner of #5 Grote & #6 Werderman in the semis.
182 – #1 Schumacher should make the semis where he could face #4 Sims. #2 Bishop, #3 McDowell, #5 Schwenn, & #6 Oveson should make for some great matches on the bottom side.
195 – #1 Sifuentes & #2 Reeves could face off in the quarterfinals on bottom side. On the top side you have #3 Hagen, #4 Dejong, #5 Even, & #6 Lyons.
220 – #1 Johnson lost to #2 Rief at districts but appears to have the better draw to make the finals from top half. Rief is joined on the bottom side by #3 Francis, #4 Clark, #6 Bonestroo, & #10 Keehner.
285 – #1 and defending champ Brinkman should make it out of the bottom half. He should get the winner of #4 Anthony & #5 Naig in the semis. #2 Schott, #3 Sadler, #7 Jackson, #8 Crawford, & #9 Beminio are all on the top side.
