Three-time state qualifier Braydon Nunemaker has made his college decision as the East Buchanan prep will join a growing Loras DuHawk recruiting class. The 2017 state medalist was also a Corn Cob National champion last March.

After taking fourth place at 145 pounds as a junior, Nunemaker was figured to be one of the title contenders heading into the 2017-18 season, including carrying a top five ranking into the postseason. Unfortunately, the injury bug struck Nunemaker as it was later revealed that he had suffered a torn ACL, torn meniscus, and a bone fracture in the femur which significantly impacted his postseason performance.

Rounding out the DuHawk 2018 class is a trio of 3A state medalists, Tad Griffith (Des Moines Lincoln), heavyweight runner-up Dylan Olson (Dubuque Hempstead) ,and fourth place state medalist Brock Parker (Waukee). The DuHawks have also landed the commitment of Colorado state champion Christian Fulks (Adams City, Colorado)
