Augustana University picks up their third wrestler from the state of Iowa as today Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s Brayden Curry announced that he has given them his verbal commitment. Curry joins Sibley-Ocheyedan wrestlers Dylan Schuck and Matt Naig as Iowans to commit to Augustana in the 2017 class. Curry annoucement his commitment via twitter:
“I got a lot of great offers from some wonderful schools, but Augustana really felt like home to me,”Curry told IAwrestle, “I connected well with the guys, I loved the coaches, and the campus was beautiful. My college journey was full of great schools, but Augustana is where I felt most at home.”
Ranked #23 in the latest IAwrestle Fab 50 rankings, Curry is a three-time state medalist for Sergeant Bluff-Luton never finishing lower than third (and runner-up each of the last two years). Curry will wrestle either 125 or 133 pounds for Augustana.
